The pool walls in my swimming pool/pool are rough

Possible cause:

White lime deposits due to lime precipitation with pH levels higher than 7.8

Removal of hardness components (Metal EX). If the deposits should not detach, empty the pool, clean with an acidic cleaner (dinoclean S super concentrate), fill with fresh water. If the total hardness of the fresh water should be higher than 15 °dH, a hardness stabiliser (dinoplex C) should be added to the pool water regularly.

Possible cause:

brown deposits, caused by diatoms

Add a special algicide (dinolgin spezial, dinocid spezial), ensure a thorough circulation and carry out a backwash of the filter system.

Possible cause:

Brown deposits in pool water due to iron (TIP: put a rag soaked with Metal EX or the edge of a freshly cut lemon on the deposits. If the colour changes to a lighter tone, it is iron)

Remove heavy metals (Metal EX), as a precaution, the source of iron should be localised. Ask your dealer for help, if required.
