More and more pool owners prefer to keep their pool running throughout the winter. The prerequisite for this is, of course, the appropriate technology. From now on, we have therefore integrated a frost protection function into our dinotecNET⁺ ready and dinoTouch⁺ systems. For this, the solar temperature sensor or another temperature sensor installed at a different representative measuring point can be used.

With the frost protection function, you set the temperature at which the filter pump starts running to prevent freezing. You can also set at which interval (e.g. every hour) and for how long (e.g. 15 minutes) the filter pump should run.
If frost protection is activated, the stored daily filtration time is overridden once the set temperature is reached.

Filtration in frost protection mode runs only in lowered-operation mode, i.e. never via the surge tank and overflow channel, so that the water cannot freeze at this exposed point.
